Wrapor supports the Five Stars Scanner Appeal
The Five Stars Appeal at Manchester Children’s Hospital, is a local charity that we have a special personal connection with. For each garment sold from this website, we will make a donation to the appeal, to help it raise the £1 million it needs for a replacement MRI scanner The scanner will help children from Carlisle to Crewe, and, in special cases, anywhere in the UK.
The new equipment will cut the time of a standard scan from 45 minutes to 15 minutes, making it far less distressing for children.
This will allow staff to diagnose cancer and cancer related illnesses earlier, enabling doctors to provide early treatment that will ultimately save children’s lives.
